Where the dates come from
Records marked Verified are compiled from the OEM's published notice and link to it. Records marked Seed are placeholders awaiting verification and must be checked against the OEM notice. We never take dates from resellers or maintenance providers. Vendors covered: Arista, Brocade, Cisco, Dell, Dell EMC, HPE, IBM, Juniper, Lenovo, NetApp.
Verification status
Every product row and product page carries a Seed or Verified badge. A Verified record shows the date it was checked and a link to the OEM notice. A Seed record shows no source link and carries a note to verify against the OEM notice. Treat seed records as a starting point for research, not as contract input.
OEM notices are scoped to part numbers rather than product families, so two SKUs in the same family can carry different dates. Always confirm against the notice for the exact part number on your asset.
Refresh policy
- Vendor EOL bulletin pages are reviewed on a rolling monthly cycle.
- Models with a milestone inside the next twelve months are reviewed first.
- Reported corrections are reviewed before scheduled refreshes.
- When a date changes, the record is updated and its verification timestamp reset.
Independence
We do not sell hardware, maintenance contracts, or disposal services, and no vendor pays for placement or ranking here. When you request a quote, the request goes to a single independent maintenance and ITAD partner. That referral is how the site is funded, and it does not influence any date, ranking, or recommendation on the site.
